Emu and Pigeon

Two cartoon birds, two social accounts and one neighbourhood, built to fund Just Gold's social impact program.

A Just Gold project
Emu and Pigeon trade mark

Same hatchday. Different problems.

An emu and a pigeon, born on the day the Russian bots went on strike. One has spent a lifetime investigating why people will not text back. The other wants to know who told them what to think.

Every profit goes back into impact. All profits from Emu and Pigeon go to the Just Gold impact program, which backs the Aurum Foundation, Autistic Pride Day and pro bono work for organisations doing good. It is the first Just Gold project built to fundraise for that work.

Why it exists

Two accounts, one family

Emu runs Not Emused, about relationships, work, desire and everyday irritation. Pigeon runs Pigeon Has a Point, about news, power, media and the stories people are sold. Follow both and you get the family: disputed memories, unsolicited advice, occasional loyalty and two very different explanations for almost everything.

Eggsborough

The twins live in Eggsborough, a neighbourhood of Australian birds with their own shops and stories, from Colonial Fish and Chips to Yiayia's. Meet the neighbours.

Where the profits go

All profits go to the Just Gold impact program, which backs the Aurum Foundation, Autistic Pride Day and pro bono work for organisations doing good.
