Think

Think is the national program of conferences, summits and community workshops that Just Gold designs and runs with the Aurum Foundation. It puts people with lived experience in the same room as the institutions that make decisions about them.

Watch

Think Talks

Every Think talk, panel and keynote in one public library, each with captions and a transcript.

Think Talks is a joint project of Just Gold and the Aurum Foundation. It is the home of Think Autism, Think Social Cohesion, Think Regional Futures and Think 3000 at RMIT, and holds the full Think Social Cohesion National Summit: both keynotes, the framing address and all five panels.

Videos never play by themselves, and every page lets you lower the colour or enlarge the text.

Why it matters to government

Many firms can write a strategy. Very few can also bring together the communities that strategy will affect, and keep their trust once the consultation is over. That capacity is built one event at a time, and it cannot be bought in at the end of a project.

Just Gold has built it through Think. When a department needs to hear from Autistic Australians, multicultural communities, LGBTIQA+ people or young people, Think gives it a room that those communities already trust, and a record of what was said.

What Think does

Think combines event design, strategic communications and co designed public engagement. Each platform creates a public forum where underrepresented voices shape decisions across government, education, culture and community, and each one leaves behind filmed discussions, toolkits and policy material that organisations can use.

The Think platforms

  • Think Autism. Australia’s first Autistic led public discourse platform, launched as an evolution of Autistic Pride Day. It runs symposiums, policy forums and free toolkits.
  • Think Social. Public conversations recorded on site, including Think Social 2 at South Eveleigh in May 2025.
  • Think Social Cohesion National Summit. Held on 28 July 2026 at Business Western Sydney in Parramatta, convened by SydWest Multicultural Services, SSI and the Settlement Council of Australia, with SBS as media partner. Its Social Cohesion Roadmap is now in community consultation.
  • Think Regional Futures. After a successful pilot in Shepparton, the Victorian Government has funded a second round, Think Regional Futures 2, back in Shepparton in March 2028.
  • Think Multiculture. Conversations on the cultural reality of regional Australia, including the Regional Futures series.
  • Think Culture. Launched through the Multicultural Museums Trail in Melbourne, a place based storytelling project with multicultural communities and institutions.
  • Think 3000. A youth leadership and employment initiative co produced with RMIT University.
  • Think Voice. Supports underrepresented communities to shape democratic systems, participation and policy accountability.
  • Think Pride. A lived experience led platform on LGBTIQA+ rights, institutional trust and the role of public events in systems reform.
  • Think Greek. Civic storytelling and engagement celebrating Greek diaspora leadership.
  • Think Women. Run by Just Gold. It grew out of The Invisible Woman, a docuseries on age and gender equity produced through a two year strategic partnership with the City of Melbourne, now concluded.
