Lambros Fisfis and Michalis Mathioudakis, two of Greece’s most acclaimed comedians, are coming to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for three shows only, on April 19, 20 and 21. They will take you down Greek memory lane, to reminisce and laugh about all the things that are distinctly Greek, and shed some light on the dark situation gripping the country.
With their mixed Greek heritage, Lambros from Kalamata and the island of Chios, and Michalis of Cretan and Pontian descent, the two of them capture the spirit and culture of Greece like no other comedians. Their incisive observations paint a side splitting picture of modern Greeks and highlight all their idiosyncrasies.

Lambros and Michalis talk about the things in everyday life that can seem insignificant, yet somehow unite us all: failed parties, traffic jams, scary pigeons, house sharing, attempted afternoon naps, bad photos, your grandmother’s tactics, posters for Greek village fairs, feta, frappé, Greekdancing, bulging Tupperware your mum forces on you, more bulging from your mum and even more bulging Tupperware from your mum.
