Just Gold reveals its full Pride Program for 2019/20
The 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots marks five decades of progress, but for all the achievements, there are still many more battles to be fought before we become a truly tolerant and inclusive society.
Today our rainbows around the world honouring the Stonewall riots are shining brighter.
But they must not disappear.
Our disruptive rainbow is here to stay.
Our over $40,000 worth #JustGoldPrideProgram, a part of our #Changemakers Program, is a multiplatform, multi approach initiative to engage in dialogue, to start conversations, to promote diversity and inclusion, to take action.
Our program is inspired by and its terms and conditions are based on the Victorian Government’s “Boost Your Business” program. Grants can be used in the form of vouchers to boost your work and build your capacity. Vouchers give you access to our agency’ s resources and partners with the option to choose leadership, impact, branding, strategy and communication services through three different streams:
You can never find the end of the rainbow, but you can find the right tools

The services range from strategy, branding & marketing, digital transformation, social impact consulting, audience development & community management and they are available to organisations and individuals that have a proven advocacy record or connection with the community.
Applications are not mutually exclusive; you or your organisation may be eligible to receive up to three grants, one from each different grant stream.

Pride
Every year June is celebrated as #Pride month around the world, an opportunity for the International LGBTIQA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender diverse, intersex and queer) community to celebrate the achievements of the movement born out of the Stonewall Riots in Greenwich Village.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the riots that erupted in New York, protesting police brutality and systemic discrimination against members of the LGBTIQA+ community. Worldwide Pride events are planned around the world to promote gender diversity, tolerance, acceptance, and inclusion. It is an opportunity to commemorate the struggles, sacrifice and resilience of every generation of LGBTIQA+ activists who fought discrimination and paved the way for social change, including the legislation for marriage equality, which is now in power in 26 countries around the world.
Pride month is an opportunity to celebrate all that; an opportunity to reaffirm a stance against discrimination and violence; an opportunity to raise awareness for LGBTIQA+ issues; to spread a message of self worth, dignity and safety; an opportunity to celebrate achievements, to see how far we have gone as inclusive communities, but also how much further we can go.
