Our #findyourhashtag workshop is an integral part of the Just Gold Pride Program helping people, teams and organisations become more effective in their attempts to create social change.In our workshop, participants will map down their vision and their mission, fine tune their messages, find their hashtag, understand what an impact strategy is and learn how to work with S.M.A.R.T. goals. We are offering a method for social enterprises, not for profits, businesses and individuals who are associated with the LGBTIQA+ community to build a communication strategy for diversity and inclusion that serves their social purpose, at no cost.
Tell the right story, the right way
At Just Gold, we have been observing for some time now the dynamic of hashtag activism.
People relate to hashtags and share their personal stories easier when using the # symbol. And we need all stories.Stories help us make sense of the world and find a place in it.Stories make meaning out of patterns. Stories can become the light that shows us the way. Stories are the glue that brings us together.Stories change the world; they make, prop up, and bring down systems. If you have been working in the LGBTIQA+ space as an individual, a group, a social enterprise or an organisation, you have a story. And that story is valuable.
Applications open on the 1st of July 2019. Full terms and conditions of our #changemakers and Pride Program will be released on our social media and website 28 June 2019 to coincide with the 50-year celebrations from the Stonewall riots. Successful applicants will be announced on our social media and website 30 August 2019.
The #JustGoldPrideProgram
The #JustGoldPrideProgram is part of our annual #Changemakers Program and includes grants and services in the form of vouchers for the Australian LGBTIQA+ community. Our $40,000 worth #JustGoldPrideProgram is a multiplatform, multi approach initiative to engage in dialogue, to start conversations, to promote diversity and inclusion, to take action.
