Think Pride Event co funded for June 2022 by Victorian Government

Save the date: Think Pride is planned for June this year and it’s going to be another great Just Gold event. Think Pride is planned for early June 2022 with the support of the Victorian Government Department of Families, Fairness, and Housing. Just Gold has received funding for this project through the Victorian Government’s Pride Events and Festivals Fund, which provides up to $10,000 to community organisations and LGBTIQA+ social enterprises organising events.

Think Pride will be an in person and online event celebrating and uniting Victoria’s LGBTIQA+ communities, discussing how we can collectively solve social issues. The event will feature guest speakers from different sectors, ages, and cultural backgrounds across the LGBTIQA+ community discussing issues of identity with an intersectional focus.

The event will be recorded in front of a live audience who will be invited to participate through sharing their own stories and asking questions, and stream online for increased accessibility.

Through Think Pride we will connect and empower participants and viewers, providing much needed visibility for community leaders and giving audiences the knowledge and language to challenge current conversations around identity and inclusion in Victoria.
