Overview
After the board workshop in March 2026, SydWest’s board asked Just Gold to lead the strategy that followed. The work began in June 2026 and its output is the 2027 to 2030 strategic framework.
Challenge
The workshop report had set clear positions for the board. The strategy had to take those positions to the executives and directors who would carry them, and test SydWest’s account of itself. Leadership said its people were its advantage.
Approach
[Placeholder: method (The Ethos Method or The Praxis Framework) to be confirmed]
Every executive and every director was interviewed one to one. The interviews were sequenced so each person gave their own view before hearing anyone else’s. The work tested SydWest’s account of itself and identified the advantage a competitor cannot hire: knowing how SydWest’s community relationships produce outcomes.
Deliverables
- One to one interviews with every executive and every director
- The 2027 to 2030 strategic framework
Outcome
The strategy commits SydWest to codifying how its community relationships produce outcomes. The 2027 to 2030 strategic framework gives the board a strategy it can decide on.
