Overview
In July 2026 SydWest co convened the Think Social Cohesion National Summit with SSI and the Settlement Council of Australia, with SBS as media partner. Just Gold produced the Summit through its Think platform.
Challenge
SydWest’s board had directed the organisation to build influence beyond its footprint. The Summit was the first proof of that direction.
Approach

The Summit put a regional provider at the table with the sector’s national peak body, its largest settlement provider and the national broadcaster. Just Gold produced the Summit through Think and ran live synthesis, so the room left with its own record of the discussion.

Outcome
The Summit produced a Social Cohesion Roadmap that is now in sector consultation. SydWest holds a national Roadmap with its name on it, and the Roadmap now underpins the community storytelling program with the City of Parramatta.
